Month review
Hello everyone. Kendall has had a few appointments since my last post. Heart cath was done on February 18th. They went through the right carotid artery on the right side of her neck for the cath. The pressure(s) in her heart are stable and the ECHO looked good. On Friday February 20th the transplant nurse practitioner called and said the results of biopsy came back "mild" rejection. She said they really don't know if the rejection is because the heart is healing from the last

Time flies....
On December 10th Kendall was diagnosed with Influenza A. She was immediately put on tamiflu for 5 days. She had a mild case thank God. Then Quentin tested + for influenza A on January 7th so the transplant team wanted Kendall treated again because of exposure. This time she had to be on tamiflu for 10. days On December 17th we went on our first vacation since the transplant. We went to Nashville Tennessee for Quentin's 21st birthday. Our family's meet..
October 11th--. Our family met with Brady's parents, Allisun and Donavon Caproon via Zoom. We greeted each other with smiles and introductions. From there the conversation just flowed. We didn't have a Q & A with a list of questions because we wanted it to be genuine and not scripted. Our exciting news......
We have been in contact with the donors family. They are such beautiful people inside and out. Kendall's heart donor's name is Brady Caproon. Myself and Brady's mom have been texting and writing letters to each other back and forth since last year. This was definitely an answered prayer, that the donor's family would want to know us.
