Hello everyone. Kendall has had a few appointments since my last post.

Heart cath was done on February 18th. They went through the right carotid artery on the right side of her neck for the cath. The pressure(s) in her heart are stable and the ECHO looked good. On Friday February 20th the transplant nurse practitioner called and said the results of biopsy came back "mild" rejection.

She said they really don't know if the rejection is because the heart is healing from the last cath result that said "moderate" rejection or if it was rejecting again. Since she has no symptoms of being sick the plan was to not admit her into the hospital but to watch her at home for any signs/symptoms of rejection. She has to get lab work done every 2 weeks and have another heart cath in 3 months.

Had an eye doctor appointment and the results came back that she is nearsighted and could benefit from glasses so we will make her an appointment for that soon.

Tomorrow (Monday May 2) she has to go Motts for her cardiac lab work early in the morning.

Upcoming appointments:

March: 17 CT scan of pelvis(spleen) and an oncology appointment afterwards

March 19 appointment with lung doctor(routine visit)

March 20th appointment with hematologist(spleen specialist) to go over CT scan report and plan of care

Kendall continues to show resilience and doesn't change her words or actions based on any results she receives.

I was talking to someone yesterday that was saying how strong Kendall is and every time she sees Kendall she doesn't look sick and always has a positive attitude. I told her that I am so grateful that God has continued to give Kendall this calmness and peacefulness over the years that has helped all of us get through. She certainly doesn't act or look like everything she has been through.

God has never taken His hands off of her and He never will.
