Good evening. Hope everyone is doing well. Here are the latest updates

JUNE 18 ENT. This was a 6 month checkup appointment. He did not put the scope down her throat this time( She smiled big when the doctor said that). The Dr went over some details from when Kendall saw him 6 months ago. He doesn't want to do an airway procedure because her vocal cords could be damaged and/or there would be a lot of swelling causing her not to breathe and require a tracheostomy that would be in permanently. It's a no for us!! He said as long as she doesn't have any trouble breathing on her own he would see her in his office according to symptoms.

Also June 18th Oncology. The Dr has been following her Epstein Barr levels closely as you know. Unfortunately they went up again. 15,400.(from 243, 4300, 10,100). Kendall will have an ultrasound of her neck and abdomen tomorrow (June 24th) to check her lymph nodes. If the ultrasound gives a good picture of the size of the lymph nodes she will not have to have the PET scan in July. They would just continue to do ultrasounds unless EBV levels keep climbing. Kendall feels good. A couple of days of a sore throat and cough here and there but nothing more than that.

This Friday June 26th she is having a heart cath and biopsy of the right side of the heart. Checking the pressures in the vessels that go to her heart as well as a biopsy for signs of heart rejection.

This cath procedure is a routine one. She has to have them now on a scheduled basis for data that is needed to see how the heart is doing.

I am pretty sure that's not all but that's all that my brain can think of right now.

Thank you for continuing to keep up with this journey, your prayers and support.

It will all work out. She is a warrior and miracles will continue to be a part of her story.
