Updates from last weeks appointments

I will start with Oncology: As I said in the last post, the results of a few blood tests are low(but) stable and shows that Kendall's immune system is still suppressed. When she is weaned off of a few of her heart medications we should see an improvement in her labs.

-The oncologist had a meeting with the hematologist regarding that "mass" they have been following on her spleen. It was seen before on a CT scan and MRI in 2024 during her evaluation process(before transplant.) Since it was already there they don't suspect it is lymphoma but because it is slowly getting bigger she will have a spleen biopsy on July 2nd.

-The blood work also detected presence of the EBV virus again. We were told that once you are exposed to any virus there is always a chance that it will be detected in your blood. The levels were greater than what they would consider a past infection. Because of that she will have more frequent blood draws to make sure the levels are going back down and doesn't need any medication or treatment. UUUGGGGGHHHHHHH

Kendall feels great and doesn't have any symptoms that anything is going on in her body so we are still in prayer that all is well and no matter what the blood work ever shows, we are convinced she has been through the worst of anything she will ever have to go through.

As far as the heart biopsy goes, it was negative for any signs of rejection so that is great news!!!

and that is why the doctors are confident that decreasing medications is safe at this time. The next heart cath/biopsy will be on July 22nd.

Continue to keep Kendall in your prayers. No matter what is going on she still never complains or feels sorry for herself. She is absolutely a bright light and a gift from God and proves that we can get through anything we face in our own lives.
