Sunday August, 24th

Hello everyone. Hope you are having a great weekend. Wanted to give you the latest updates.

Every appointment can last anywhere between 6-8 hours. Kendall has to wait on vascular team to come and start IV and draw blood. Then go to the clinic for the doctors appointment. Then to infusion center. She gets nausea medicine and benadryl 30 minutes before the infusion starts.

1st dose of Rituximab infusion went well. This dose was infused over 4 1/2 hours. The first dose is always slower to infuse just to make sure she can tolerate it without the side effects. (August 14)

2nd dose went well also. This time it was infused for about 3 hours. (August 21)

3rd dose will be on Thursday the 28th.

I just saw her EBV results that were drawn on Friday and they are so good! God is so amazing...

Let me give you a recap on the levels:

April 28---not detected

June 10---1,800

June 25---13,400

July 7------17,700

July 22----34,800

August 4---40,900

August 14--60,400

August 22--179

179??? No zeros behind!!! I was literally staring at the numbers with my mouth hanging open. I actually got out of the app and logged back in because I couldn't believe it at first. When I logged back in it indeed still said 179!!

Every step backwards is frustrating but it always ends in a WIN.
