Greetings everyone. I have not posted anything since July!! Yikes...

Not posting is actually a good thing because there wasn't any bad news report

Updates: EBV levels

-7/11 11,800, 7/14 5,500, 7/29 2900, 8/11 3800, 8/26 5200

So the levels fluctuate because she never had EBV as a child. The oncologist said that is normal because of the meds she is on to suppress her immune system (which also protects her heart from rejecting).

-That answered my questions as to why it is never (not detected or low numbers). Anytime she is exposed to any symptoms of colds, flu, cough from someone else etc....her body doesn't fight it off easily. That is why she has to have her blood drawn every 2 weeks for now.

-August 6th her PET scan was canceled

-August 11th oncology- monthly check up. Kendall feels good so no reason to do anything other than blood work at this time.

-blood work this week

  • Heart cath procedure September 29th- Routine 3 month cath( she started taking Farixga in July so we will be able to see that it is helping to decrease the pressures in the right side of her heart)

I was having a hard time opening the patient portal and seeing these numbers go up and down. My mind kept taking me back to the high levels and cancer treatments. Now (for my mental health) I am relying and believing that the prayers that have been prayed are already answered. I won't let the numbers and doctors report shift my faith. It's not easy but I have to believe that the worst has already happened and anything going forward is answered prayers and watching God work.

Have a great weekend and thank you again for keeping Kendall on your mind and in your prayers always.
