May 2025 Moments: The Face of a Champion

Earlier today, Kendall and I took a simple walk through our neighborhood—nothing fancy, just us and the fresh air. In between her time on the iPad 😄, we had a few sweet, quiet conversations. It wasn’t anything deep or heavy—just moments. But they meant everything.

We stopped and sat on a bench, and as I looked at her, I was overwhelmed. Not with sadness or fear, but with gratitude. I saw strength, light, and peace. I saw how faithful God has been—not just in answering the prayers I prayed, but in answering the ones I didn’t even know I needed to pray. His answers go beyond what we can think or imagine.

Kendall is truly the face of a champion. She has walked through more in her 16 years than many do in a lifetime—and yet she walks in grace, strength, and joy.
