March 2025 Miracles – Countdown to the Final Chemo!

Time is flying—and so much has happened this month as we inch closer to a major milestone in Kendall’s healing journey. I always intend to post more often, and every day I tell myself “Today’s the day”… but life keeps life-ing. So here we are—finally catching you up on all the beautiful progress. 💕

💉 Insulin Learning Curve

We’ve been adjusting to the insulin-to-carb ratio and let me tell you, this math is mathin’! 😂 But in all seriousness, we’re doing well and getting the hang of managing it thanks to consistency, grace, and lots of glucose logs!

💛 6 Months Post-Transplant

This month marks six months since Kendall’s transplant—a huge milestone. She’s been through so much, and yet here she is: smiling, thriving, and inspiring. It's been a journey of:

  • Faith

  • Endurance

  • Prayers

  • Love

  • Hard work

  • Miracle after miracle

We don’t take any of it for granted.

🩺 Heart Cath & Biopsy

We’re heading into another heart catheterization and biopsy—a routine part of checking for rejection. These appointments are always intense, but necessary, and we remain hopeful and prayed up every time.

💪🏽 Chemo Countdown: Almost DONE!

This Thursday is Kendall’s second-to-last chemo infusion. After this one, there’s just ONE MORE left in three weeks—and then we are DONE! 🎉👏🏽💪🏽✅ That’s a celebration in itself!

To all of our supporters: thank you for sticking with us. If you’ve got your #TeamKendall shirts—rock them with us on chemo days! 💜

🌟 Expecting Good News

As we headed to U of M this week for a doctor’s visit and infusion, I had a feeling deep in my spirit: good news is coming. I’m holding onto that expectation and believing for the best.

🙌🏽 Gratitude, Always

Every visit, every infusion, every prayer, every moment of encouragement—it matters. We are still standing because of God’s grace, Kendall’s strength, and your unwavering support.

Let the countdown begin. The final chemo is in sight. 💖
