💙 Kendall’s Miracle: A Journey of Faith, Strength, and Purpose

Our journey began at 19 weeks pregnant when I was told that my unborn daughter, Kendall, had a severe congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome (HRHS). The diagnosis was life changing. Her right ventricle hadn’t developed, and we were told she would need open-heart surgery — if surgery was even an option at all.
Since then, Kendall has endured four open-heart surgeries, a stroke, cardiac arrest, and over 27 airway procedures. She’s faced every challenge with unmatched bravery, and because of her, we’ve witnessed miracles we could never have imagined. She is more than a survivor — she is a Heart Hero, a CHD Warrior, and a constant source of inspiration.
Over the years, I’ve shared Kendall’s journey in pieces: through blog posts, heartfelt reflections, and books like Beautifully Scarred and Never Alone. Each message has carried the same goal — to bring awareness, to give hope, and to remind other families that they are not alone.
Now, as Kendall has faced the next step — a heart transplant — our mission remains the same. The process is long, complicated, and sometimes overwhelming, but our faith has never wavered. We believe in miracles because we’ve already seen them.
We’ve cried tears of joy as people around the world supported us — whether by purchasing our books, wearing our T-shirts, or lifting Kendall in prayer. And as we prepare for this next chapter, we are reminded daily that God is in control, and that Kendall’s story is far from over.
This site is for every parent who’s ever felt hopeless. Every child who’s been told they were too fragile to thrive. Every family who needs a reminder that miracles happen. Kendall’s scars tell a story — not of pain, but of survival.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. We are Kendall Strong. We are Team Kendall. And we are never alone. 💙
