Finding out your child has a medical condition before he/she is born is devastating to hear, especially when the prognosis is poor. Beautifully Scarred  was written to explain how the journey of caring for a child with many medical challenges has changed the course of our family’s life and also restored our faith. Written from my perspective as a mother, I know firsthand how our daughter Kendall’s many hospitalizations, surgeries and procedures impacted the entire family. Through these pages it is my hope to let my readers know you have been given this blessing as caregiver for a purpose. You can  do it. You will  get through it.
